..................PYRAMID TRAINING SERVICES

THE PYRAMID CLUB provides employability skills and summer internships for at risk youth in Canton, Massillon, and Alliance. Our MICRO-BUSINESS LOANS/SMALL BUSINESS INCUBATION provides assistance such as business plan development, loan acquisition, and site/location planning for low to moderate-income individuals seeking to start up a small business. We also offer CONTRACT TRAINING/STAFF DEVELOPMENT TRAINING locally and nationally to agencies and organizations.

 
     
 

........SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Licensed Counselors and Social Workers provide on-site consultation, counseling, groups and supportive services to area schools both during the school day and in the after-school hours.

 
     
 

......RAPE CRISIS & SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES

The RAPE CRISIS program is available for residents of Alliance and the surrounding area and provides a 24-hour hotline for information, emotional support, and someone to listen and help. This program also offers emotional support while the victim is being treated at the hospital and helps with coordinating services with the police, the legal system, and victim assistance. Professional counselors help the victim deal with the trauma of sexual assault and to aid in the healing process. Counseling services and education are also available for the families and significant others of the victims.


 
     
 

HOUSING ASSISTANCE

The FAMILY LIVING CENTER provides temporary shelter and self-sufficiency programs for Stark County homeless families and single women.

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING provides shelter and support while addressing the barriers that prevent self-sufficiency.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES provides clinical assessments, individual and group counseling, case management, substance abuse education, life skills and case coordination to homeless persons in Stark County.


HOPWA is a housing assistance program for persons with AIDS.


Our TRANSITIONAL LEARNING CENTER offers employability skills, life skills, money management and basic computer literacy for homeless individuals and persons living in poverty.
