The Community Service's counseling program serves clients who are encountering difficulty in coping with tasks
and problems confronting them in everyday life. Our goal is to strengthen their skills by increasing self-awareness,
improving their problem solving techniques and enhancing their interpersonal relationships.
Our comprehensive counseling program addresses:
Individual Counseling is offered for those experiencing emotional or adjustment problems.
Marital/Couple Counseling aims to prevent family breakdown.
Family Therapy is an inclusive service targeting better communications and improved relationships within the unit.
Child/Adolescent Counseling offers both group and individual services to youngsters facing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties.
Pre-Marital Counseling focuses on helping a couple mutually explore the reality of married life and assist them in
developing insight and communication skills that will enhance their future life together.
AIDS Counseling includes the primary components of counseling, advocacy, and education.
Crisis Pregnancy Counseling offers assistance to young parents to enable them to make realistic decisions concerning their
future and the future of their children.
On With Living (OWL) is a clinical group helping individuals deal with the trauma of loss including divorce and/or the death of a spouse.
