Our emergency assistance program helps in crisis situations such as essential
medications, food, housing, transportation, utilities, rent, some medical, dental, and vision conditions.

Additional services include:
SAMARITAN'S TABLE: A weekly hot meal program provided to those in need. PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE: Provides temporary assistance to the uninsured for medications.
HOMELESS PREVENTION PROGRAM: Provides short-term rent, deposit, mortgage, and/or utility assistance to help persons in need of temporary relief to avoid eviction, foreclosure and the threat of homelessness.

....HELPING CHILDREN SUCCEED AFTER DIVORCE


The Stark County Family Court requires divorcing parents with minor children to attend this seminar that provides information to help parents understand the impact of divorce on children and ways to help their children adjust to the changes.

.....................PARENTING SERVICES

We have been placing children in adoptive homes since 1919. ADOPTION SERVICES include infant, private, international, kinship, stepparent, child custody and placement. We provide family assessments, home studies, adoption preparation, post placement supervision and international adoption services.

MATERNITY AND PARENTING SERVICES are dedicated to strengthening individual and family life by assisting pregnant women and families through their decision making process and providing supportive services regarding parenting and placement for adoption.



 
     
 

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS bridges the gaps and provides connections that assist adolescents and young adults, ages 12-25, in reaching their maximum potentials through comprehensive assessments, connection services, minority health services, counseling, case management, groups, and community collaboratives.
 
     
 

..................MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

We have qualified and experienced professionals to help people struggling with mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. COUNSELING SERVICES are available to individuals, children/adolescents, parent/child, couples/marital, family, and groups to alleviate mental health related symptoms and enhance the overall quality of life. PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT SERVICES for adults, adolescents, and children are available through board certified psychiatrists and nurse practitioners. COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC SUPPORTIVE TREATMENT (CPST) providers are available to increase the skills, resources, and support for those who are experiencing mental health symptoms that are significantly impairing their ability to function in the community.
