Depression is the hardest state that a man can experience. If you have this, it’s like the end of everything. It hurts right through the center of your heart. It is an emotional imbalance that you need to overcome because attempts of death are not far from your thoughts.
Teenagers are at the stage where they begin to act independently like adults. They are usually the ones affected by emotional stress because they think they are the only ones who can have the ability to solve their problems; when in truth, they are having a hard time fixing it. If you have kids, you must be aware of the signs of depression. Always be sensitive to their emotional hurt and talk to them all the time to get their trust. Your kids undergo emotional trouble when he/she are showing these symptoms:
hard up in making decisions
hard up concentrating
loss of memory
anxious, feeling of hopelessness or loneliness
grades become surprisingly low
sleeps during the day but awake at night time
he became irresponsible
withdraw from friends
does not eat or excessive eating that results in quick gaining or immediate loss of weight
always complains of pain

These signs are the initial signs that your child is in a depressive state and needs help. Your kids are no longer motivated. You have to give them the inspiration to get on with their loss.
As a parent or a caretaker of kids, it’s important to get to know your children well. They may be kids who don’t have the right to decide what they want in life but you have to give them the chance to prove their worth to value their talents and skills too soon share to people for the future generation. It can be tough being a parent, but it is every parent’s responsibility to see to it that their children are at their healthiest state. Below are some ways wherein you can help your child fight and overcome depression:
Clinical depression is considered a disease. If you internalize this fact, you will be able to help your child in one of two ways. One, It will help keep you from blaming someone, whether it is your child or yourself. Second, if you see depression as a disease rather than something that your child made up, you will never be thoughtless about what your child is feeling.
Don’t get freaked out. This will not help your child at all. Depression at a clinical level can be treated more than 80 percent of the time successfully. As long as your child is the hands of a good doctor plus very supportive parents, she or he has a very high chance of recovering and overcoming depression. But without the support of parents, the child will still slip back into depression and might even implicate even more serious issues that might lead to unforeseen consequences.
